Damaged Evo (updated)

Post by ynad »

This is what happens when xmod gets gpm'd.

It got sooo much heavier with addition of gpm parts (all drivetrain and suspension parts).
I think it could be dangerous with properly added power
P.S. in pic 2, a spot where it hit can be seen. Car's position is photographed as is, where it landed

Lol, so the first thing you thought of was "oh, that's cool, I should take some pics to post on a forum..."...

Awesome. :-D

The way it's wrecked, it looks like a miniature version of a real wrecked car. Congrats.
Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

Was either that or cry.

Watch out for those bumps in the road.

Wow, who would have thought, RC car crashes to simulate real car crashes!
I think you just came up with a new sport idea!

Does look like a real crash. Looks like you need some super glue now.

Like the dude said ^^ that's exactly what I thought.
It looks like it happened, all too real. Car just stopped. Dead.
I just happened to have a camera with me (I was shooting something else).
I was amazed myself, nothing like that ever happen to an RC. Usually they bounce around :-D
Thanks for the comments
It actually would be interesting to see pics of wrecked "cars".

P.S. btw that front clip is done/gone beyond repair. I gots spare 8-)

Man, I know they claimed to be realistic, but RadioHack really nailed it this time! That destroied front clip looks really lifelike. Now just throw in a 1/28 scale guy crying over it... :-D

That really sucks, hope it's not too far gone.

Nah, it's not gone. Actually it gave a reason to rebuild
Now it is a Rally car.
Here is the fix, I got a plate so it wont get damaged like that.
Image
Also I noticed as it gets dirty/sandy, car would not steer (due to binding of tie rod against its cover). After some poking around, I found a solution. Here it is,
smaller plate set at an angle to minimize contact patch.

It is much better now.
