xmod foam tires?

Post by hogjowlz »

well the dudes at my local shack said that they are good for running on carpet. of course these were the same dudes that said the body kit makes the car a whole lot better. im sure they have honda preludes with fartpipes and spoilers to match. but i could see how the foam tires would work indoors. anyone got em? whatcha think?

I got em for the same reason, carpet running. I figured I'ld get more traction with them but I didn't. The sticky treads and even the stock treads are better for me. :-)
Get the tires set, better bang for the buck.

1/10th and 1/12th scale carpet runners treat their foam tires with a variety of 'secret sauces'. Bud's Racing Products, Parma, etc., should sell some over the counter stuff.

These secret sauces usually contain something like turpentine that will soften the foam and make it sticky. Do a Google search, see what you find.
...crazy man, crazy...dig it.
