HEy sessiz, i was gonna get the same from dinball (2 packs of 10). Really only need like 14, you wanna go halves on 3 sets?? 15 each is enuff and im sure they would be cheap to ship to one another. Would save a little coin that way. i was also thinkin of pickin up some "screw sets" from the mini-z and hopin they would replace the xmod screws for a custom color look. You think they would fit?sessiz wrote:The mini z bearings come 7 to a pack, only 3 of them can be used on an xmod. Dinball has a set of 10 for $10 that'll work.

Tiny is also releasing some sets of xmods bearings.
I still don't have any bearings in my car, still waiting to see what Tiny comes out with. Unfortunatly I'm getting kinda antsy over here and will probably end up buying a couple sets of them dinball bearings.

Well I just spent a few hours reading at mini-zracer.com, and I've determined that it's gonna take me a few hundred dollars, and a couple years to see the Xmod's fullest potential, that's ok though, because I can take it slow, with many steps along the way.
I'm gonna just wait for Tiny to get his bearings in. I'll probably be ready to afford them by then, so that works for me. Maybe he'll have a hot motor by then that I can order at the same time. I'm still gonna get the stage 2 motors, even if I get a hotter motor I'm still gonna get the stage 2 motor set, just for the pinions, and heat sink.
When those Mini-Z guys we're talking about cramming Novak electronics in one of these, man, that got my crank turning. I had Novak electronics in all my 1/10th scale cars. If I did that and replaced the radio with a nice FM Airtronics, this car would be the ultimate, but that's where it get's expensive. I might never reach that point, or I might totally get into this over the next year, and be doing that by next year. Who know? I think it mostly depends on the competition I find.

Alls I want are the bearings but I'm not 100% on the measurements. I also have no clue on the screws, sorry.
