6 Cell 7.2V Supra
Here is my 6 cell 7.2v modded Supra. As expected, this thing hauls and will dog a 4 cell car. I have been running this for 2 days now without any problems. I installed the extra 2 batteries under the body and installed a quick connect so I can remove the body easily.
I didn't do much to the appearance cuz this one will get run quite a bit outside.

No not at all, if anything, I think it makes the car stick better when running it outside on a bumpy surface. The weight is right in the middle of the car. With the major increase in speed and whatnot, it more than makes up for the extra weight.SuperFly wrote:![]()
Excellent! edit:nevermind, figured it out.
Great idea with the quick connect. Does the weight up in the roof effect handling much?
This is my 2WD car, when I do this to a AWD car, I will do a tutorial.

Excellent idea. I think I have to do this too.
That would be sick in a AWD car. AWD is great for putting the power to the ground, and drifting through corners, but when I get my AWD kit, I was gonna covert it to FWD, to be true to the RSX, and because I prefer the way FWD handles. It's better for curvy tracks, and I'm not a drifter. RWD is better for straights, and hair pins, but I wonder how a FWD will handle with the extra weight.

you might wanna try the IC-3 batts. they charge in 15 minutes. they are expensive, but they have so much more power... when i run my blue motor im topping out at such high speeds its scary, and i can run over a half an hour at decent speeds.
And what about what maxxa said about running without the cells?
