Oh Shit

Post by Bkast »

Got a problem with my x mod... Wont steer , wont accelerate, IC3 batteries are good. Connections to circuit board are good. I left the IC3's in with the car fully charged could this have fried the circuit board? How can I find out if it is the circuits?? Also can I just order a new set of electronics because I have painted my rims, and drilled holes in the chassis for mounting posts. I doubt they'd let me return it.
Help

oh boy, thats a bummer.. the only thing i can thing of is check the connection between the batteries and the circut board, if nothing is working, it ussualy means no power is bieng transfered to the Xmod, check the connection, i bet thats it. The wires undergo alot of stress when its taken apart put back together, so that might be it.

I checked all the wiring. I know its getting power because when I switch the car on it gives me the click that sounds like something is engaging.

in the FAQ you will find 12414207 PCB ASSY RECEIVER $9.49 right now it is out of stock so if you would order it it would take 6-8 weeks for delivery or take it to your local radioshack and have them swap out the chassis.

I went and bought a new one today, seems it was the remote, wonder what could have happened. All of the electronics are fine now that I have another remote.
