6 cells, any way around this?

Post by TMP »

Xmods equip with IC3 and a stage 2 blue motor are scary fast, for the size. I want to see what my xmod would be like with 2 extra cells. Is there anyway around striping wires? I really hate striping wires in small places, especialy on my 50 dollar toy. is there ANY way around riping my car apart.

cant i just run wires from the battery pack? like negative and posative over the top of the car and into the third battery pack?

the easiest way would be to just cut the connecting wire, thats what i did adn it was very simple. just make sure you figure a way to make it fit if your using a supra i hear there a tight fit

in the case of the supra, i just mounted the extra two cells on the underside of the body with some good double stick tape, and then use one of the connecters like on the engine. with mine i mounted a sub-mini slide switch so i can change power output with the flick of a switch, 4 cells on small tight courses, and 6 on fast ones. ill try and post some pix, i just need to host them somewhere
