A ringer won the Tournament
Tamiya driver Dave Jun scores an Acura NSX at Radio Shack XMOD finals!
Tamiya factory driver David Jun was crowned the XMODS Racing League National Champ in Atlanta on Sept. 19, 2004. He competed against many other regional winners to win a super-modified 2004 Acura NSX valued at over $120,000. Congratulations!

That is NOT fair at all those guys "VIP's" should have never had a chance at winning. The only chance a regular person would ever win against this guy would have been to practice on an RCP track since the release of the Xmods.

Ok, now that is complete bullshit. To let pro rc drivers in a comp like that is ridiculous. It would have been better to make the contest available to pro drivers only. Fuckin RS.... I mean I'm pretty good driving RC, but nowhere near that level. Like I would have had a sliver of a chance in that comp. Good thing I didn't enter.
