Chill dude....I got a brew for ya in my basement fridge.....and a nice length of parking lot for one of your xmods.
The next step is to contact Ebay.
Look at it this way....you now have a license to make life hard for that dick, and it only cost you 33 bones. Just keep your cool and be smart about it....and have some fun with it.

That's the most canned reply I've ever seen! It amounts to a "You lost your money, but we don't give a shit. Take your problem and shove it." If the email reply said something like that, I'd be less pissed than if they wrote that page or two of utter bullshit. My blood is boiling!sg219 wrote:This is BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!

I think all that Paypal is saying is that they are not holding money as the seller specified, and he apparently cleaned out his Paypal account. So there is no money for them to get back. I think we should all feel a little safer knowing that paypal is not going to yank money directly from your bank account if a situation should occur.
Really, this has nothing to do with paypal, because if you sent a money order, you'd be in the same boat, he would have taken your money and lied to you, and you're only left with proof that he took your money.
And this was months ago, and micromatch just purchased something off him? That is not right. You really should have contacted ebay, and pursued this to the furthest extent, this guy should not still be out there ripping people off. I'm very disappointed.

Nope.. Someone stole over 900 from my paypal account, and paypal decided to take the money from my bank account.. Needless to say we are taking them to court for fraud, they took 200 extra from my account, and non verified use of my bank account.. Ill keep ya tuned in.crazydave wrote:I think all that Paypal is saying is that they are not holding money as the seller specified, and he apparently cleaned out his Paypal account. Please do keep us updated, I'm interested to hear how this turns out, what went wrong, and what PayPal is willing to do to help their customers.backdrift wrote:Nope.. I'm assuming this is the same problem you PM'ed me about awhile ago.
Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

Well that sucks, but that sounds like a different circumstance. If I make a payment over what's in my PayPal account I've authorized them to take the remainder from my bank account. Even though the money was stolen, it still looked like a transfer from paypal's point of view, so it was handled like any other money transfer, and the remainder came out of your bank account. Someone would have had to gain access to your account infomation. You didn't open up any emails supposedly from Paypal did you? I almost fell for one of those, they're really tricky. It'll even say www.paypal.com in your address bar, but it's not the real paypal site. You have to completely close the window after opening one of those emails.backdrift wrote:Nope.. Anyways, theft can occur even with your debit card, that's nothing against Paypal really. This is a different circumstance, because paypal would be refunding SGs money, which is something I doubt this RCbutler guy would agree to willingly.

Ehm, well we are still taking them to court.. They refuse to replace the money, and we plan on taking them to court for quite a bit
Oh and cabo, yes that problem... I just wanted to have my complete history of all websites browsed, etc. And i have that hard drive, because they want to say it was fraud commited by me, and so i need to bring the hard drive with me.. They will have some nerd decript it and tell them that im innocent, so what do you think i shall sue for? 4k? 40k? 400k? Lol.. My lawyer says hes done a fraud case for 2 mill ( someone sued a company for 2 mill ) and won to.. So

Don't get greedy, and don't talk about it anymore. In fact, I'd suggest deleteing this post, because if the nerd you are talking about sees this, it could be counted as slander, turning the whole case against you.backdrift wrote:Ehm, well we are still taking them to court..
