TN Raceing

Post by cj »

Race in Tullahona, Tn May 21st at 12:00 Central.

Here is some details on the race.

It so far is for strictly Stock R$ upgrades and you have to contact the store before the 20th to register.

Now I plan to attend with my "Stock" car and a 90% GPM Alloy Corvette. I'll bring most of the GPM collection I have as well. If you attend look for a Silver PT Cruiser.

They will be racing on smooth Blacktop and the sing-in sheet in the store has listed Drag and Course and did hear they will be setting up some cones.

The stores number available by PMing me.

Is there a sign-up fee?

'Cause I and three of my friends think Tullahoma's not too far from Cookeville for some racing...

Talked with the manager and it didn't sound like there was a fee. BTW Cookville is around an hour and a half away from Tullahoma. You have to pas thought Manchester to get there.

What a turn out!!

Only 3 racers showed and i was one of them. We only ran the track they marked out on the black top. They marked the track out with Tape, Cones, and Chalk. It was a timed course with best time winning. The winner won by only 2 seconds. :-)

The prize for winning was a Certificate, the Drift Tire kit, and a decal kit.

Yep I won and didn't even take the controller out of LOW mode. Slow and steady can almost always win on a technical track.

Yeah.. Any mini-z racer will tell you that perfection and control is just as good or better as having one of those low turn motors and being un controlled.. That dosent really make much sense at all.. Lol
