1:32 scale xmod H2 UPDATED

Post by Tuner1989 »

before i start off this is one of my first projects like this and i was on a 20 dollar budget so no fancy servos or lipos yet :) I got this crappy hummer at wal-mart and it was slow as hell and was not porportional but it had a perfect space for a 130 size motor and xmod electronics which i had laying around.
i still have to clean up alot of the excess glue and make everything look nice and clean but here is some wip pics.

you'll have to cut a huge hole in the body if you want the servo to sit there. but it should be fun, good luck!
i used to be cool

UPDATE:Yeah i got out the dremel yesterday to make room for the servo and about the mess i have cleaned alot of it up and now its looking pretty clean the reason i had to use the glue in the first place is to keep the contacts in place etc. thanks for the comments ill have pics up later

Well about the hood i had to dremel out the middle of the hood to have room for the servo right now i have some base plastic down for a little roof scoop im going to do with some putty then its going to recieve paint.
So no backdrift its not holding down 2 AAA this will take 2 AA liths and probably soon some li-poly. I still have alot of body work to do so right now its still a big wip. ill have some chassis shots with the body off up later.

thanks for the comments all :-)

you shouldve turned the servo on its side and put the electronics on top, it wouldve fit... :o

That was the first thing i tried when i got it i would of had a big ass hole in the wind shield if i even did get it to fit righ there. The crystal is almost hitting the roof to give you a idea of the inside room. im content with where the servo is.
