it's been brought to my attention that my bp racing nsx is on the xmodsrc.com "top 10 nsx's" page.

now i've never been over there really so i'm not sure if it's an honour or if someone's trying to claim my work as theirs. but i don't remember giving permission for my work to be used over there.

should i be on their ass about it or is this nothing to worry about?

and it's not even an xmod body, it's a kyosho nsx!

Check this out though...
Click on all the images to get the "biggie view".
Notice that 3 of the 10 do not have a larger image view, just the thumbs.
How much you wanna bet those are the 3 that they didn't get permission from to post?
That's a little bullshit-ish.
Obviously there are larger versions of those 3 images (or at least yours I know for sure). I get the feeling they aren't showing the "biggie view" on those not only because they didn't get permission to post/host those images, but also they might have another sites name in the image (i.e. bitPimps or Ausmicro).
That's pretty bullshit-ish too.

Really though, it's up to you. Are you pissed about it? Then make em take it down, or at very least, give you the credit you deserve.

I personally would be a little upset. I mean, if you thought my shit was cool enough to post, why isn't cool enough for you to give me the credit I deserve?
It doesn't take much to make a note about the image and/or vehicle not being theirs, but someone else's and giving credit to the rightful owner.

generally i'm happy for people to use my images without first asking provided they give credit and that they don't try to pass them off as their own.

but i get the feeling that this site is the public faceof rs. if someone's winning a prize with my shit i'll fuck em hard!!!

i guess i'll ask them why my image is on their site.

i was at no time asked for permission to use this image and would ask that you give credit to me and the bitpimps website that it represents or remove it entirely.

in general i'm happy for my images to be used on the net, provided 2 simple rules are adhered to:

1. give credit for the work and image
2. do not try to claim my work as your own.

you could at least provide a larger image for viewing which clearly indicates my name and the organisation i represent.

I wouldn't be suprised if some did try to pawn it off as theirs k. That site is like the worst of the worst when it comes to xmods shit. To bad we can't tell who entered it.

Yeah theres alot of images on that site that kids have stolen and posted as their own i think they should have a specific way people should have to post their pics so no one gets jipped. Ex. on a sheet of paper with their name etc. But you know rs they probably wont give a fuck and send you some computerized email.
