if ph2t can find lipo's that fit in mr02 battery bays then why can't you guys do the same with the evo? we're dealing with the same amount of space right?

Nt quite. If you noticed (you've probably seen the car up close), he trimmed the back a bit to fit it in. That might not be possible with the xmod, as the wheels might be closer to the back of the batteries, yadda yadda yadda.betty.k wrote:if ph2t can find lipo's that fit in mr02 battery bays then why can't you guys do the same with the evo? we're dealing with the same amount of space right?![]()

Gnubee, besides structurally weakening the chassis, I think the driveshaft runs through there. If someone with an evo can verify where the driveshaft runs through, all of us would have a better shot at solving this problem.

I hope you're right. I'm getting the H2 ASAP, so I'll be able to get good measurements.betty.k wrote:trust me, there's room in an evoviperdout wrote:Nt quite. Yes, but they don't have them in stock. It's gonna be a couple weeks last time I checked. It says they're in stock, but I talked with them on AIM and they said they're not in.ph2t wrote:slavin4u.com has the aaa li-ions.

I saw that thread, I still think there's gotta be a better way to install liths.
