Is the drifting kit supposed to be like this?
Hey guys
Yesterday I finally got my first xmod(boxing day, $30.00 off) it's a Acura RSX. There was 1 drifting kit left so I decided to pick it up. I come home and put them on, and I cant even go straight for 2 seconds. I just keep turning in circles on the spot.
Is it supposed to be like that? Thanks if you can help.
off topic: the turning on my xmod is really wide, is that normal also? thanks.

Ask for what you want here:
Lookin' to score
I think you'll need more than 50 posts, so look around, READ and don't make threads if there is one like it already, we get real angry
.
What ever you're into, there is info on it here at BP. Just find a subforum and lurk a while, soak things up.
I'm sure someone here has an AWD kit for sale. I had one but I gave it away.

Less posting, more reading
Xmod discussion
Page 6 may be a good place to start, that's when WE were new to them and since you're new to them now, you should start there. All kinds of mods and reviews can be found here.

PS: No need to thank me, I assuming you are.
I'm not going to hold your hand any more.

lol maxx.
since the car is rwd and you can't really get awd yet, ryan, i suggest you start practicing.
put electrical tape on the rear wheels -- trust me, it's grippier than the drift kit plastic and you'll have an easier time with it.
lock the diff, somehow, as long as it's locked solidly and won't come loose under power.
countersteer REALLY early. as soon as you know the rear end is out, let up the throttle halfway or more, and countersteer all the way.
took me a year to learn how to rwd drift, so i'm hoping there's someone out there with more skill who can perfect the art and teach me back.
