gotta agree...I love the older scoobys. The only thing I would change on this one would be to lower the wing about a 1/4 inch. Other than that, I'm impressed. Nice work color0 :-o

Awesome pictures man. Like Maxxa's comment, the last 4 pics are ready for a magazine cover.

not very happy with the ground clearance of the front end, so i'm going to reduce it a bit with a lip spoiler and a splitter:

Image

splitter coming soon. after the lip, i'll go around the car with thin plastic to emulate something like this: http://www.srbpower.com/chargespeed/sub ... m-line.php

the entire bodykit, and the spoiler, will be gone over in a few coats of gunmetal and then one coat of gloss black for that CF look... so if the spoiler's a little gaudy now, it'll be much more understated when i paint it.

edit: finished splitter section.

an update: i finished the lip kit and splitter for the car. despite the obvious imperfections, i think the bodykit looks rather decent.

i don't know when i can drop down to the LHS again, but when i do i will be making a crapload of decals... some to go on this car.

thanks for the compliments everyone!

edit: finally took the time to check the scales.

a stock mini-z weighs ~6.1 oz. (taken from arch2b's picture)
a slightly hopped-up mini-z weighs ~6.7 oz. (thanks arch2b again)
a stock evo weighs ~7.7 oz.
this impreza weighs ~6.1 oz.

figures don't lie... this xmod can finally cast of its status as a brick, as it's now as light or lighter than a mini-z. :-o

anyone want tagu's on this thing? i photoshopped a pic to see, i think they'd look great.
