The size of these was the main reason why I didn't care about getting one at first. I still drive my bits more than this thing and it don't look like that's gonna be changing. Add to that how freakin serious some of these mini z cats seem to get and the car just doesn't become as much fun anymore. I still plan on going to the mini z tracks and racing around but That will probably be a once a week thing, if that.

Has anyone changed their mind about the ground clearance or jumpability of the Xmod since this thread began?

Yeah the store models are usually POSes. I know at my store we kept on having em stolen so we just Frankenstien em with the returned ones that we are supposed to destroy. The result is a piss poor but working X-mod. Another factor is that the buildings RSes are normally in, suck for radio frequencies so take it as you would. Bottom line, it's good to see you in th hood again Hiroto

I have a Xmod, And You do need a lot of space (I drive it on the driveway) and if You have enough space and enough money You can make Xmods clock out at over 40MPH, (using the right after market motors, FET's, carbon fiber parts, bearings, and lots of weight reduction) If You want to go over 40MPH You need to spend at least $150.00 prob. more but You can still make this go about 20-25mph with Radioshack parts. There good but I like Bits better. I like working on bits better.
