Found this over on scale4x4rc.

It's a small gear-motor that has been stuffed inside a 130 motor can. Looks like it drops you to nearly HS-55 speed, without the need to hack stuff up as much.
URL has pics and video.

Wow, thats awesome. I really hate you though, now I have to spend more money, and now I have to go through a bunch of boxes to find my crawler project X-mod.

Hum

I do have a x-truck and its already been lifted, + body lifted, articluated, and 4x4'd... then I just got bored and haven't touched it since

maybe a new body, some aluminum shocks, those tamiya tires and of course that motor????
Great find.

You're welcome Shaun, anything I can do to help.
Sidewinder, who has the aluminum shocks, and are they oily or friction?
Your plan sounds about like my truck: 4x4, suspension lift, remove steering slop, new body...
Now I'm wanting That motor, tamiya or ashoma tires (tamiya sounds easier)
I believe the tires are THESE

EDIT: I couldn't remember the company I got these from but I found a link to the same springs/shocks from Hobby-Smart. They're not oil and I don't really know that they work that much better but they look cool. That, plus they're cheap enough

Sp anyway here's a link:

There are a couple of retailers on ebay that have them...now that I think about it I think I got mine from TheToys.
