At any rate a 4-wheel drive fully proportional RC for 50 bucks is almost too good to be true, and they look good.
Yep I'm in that boat too man. :-)

I contacted the local RS here in Peg' ( canada). The cat# 's werent listed in his database ( to be expected). Does anyone know whether or not these can be ordered from a "foreign/non domestic" radioshack?

Good Looking out Sez....much appreciated...ya big ol' pimp

Odd....i didnt notice that the xmods would be available via the website itself. Question folks....at what point do XMODS become exspensive as opposed to their counter parts ( Mini Z - HPI - Epoch)?
$49.99 for the starter kit? EXCELLENT DEAL. Another ..say...40 bucks for upgrades....90 total....would one be better off buying an authentic Mini Z or Epoch ( not that i plan on it...guarantteed im an XMOD sheep from this day forth)? Just tossing the question out there....

well we will have to see when they come out and how much needs to be done to have them running nice.

Maybe RS will step up and give a super nice 'OUT OF BOX" car with lotsa performance.

Maybe Z or Z clone parts will fit.

Doesn't a Mini Z start at over a hundred and you can spend another 100+ on upgrades.

No the Xmods starter kit does not come with a charger it requires 4 AA batteries and a 9V in the controler. The 23-350 charger is a pack with an AC charger and 4 AAA NiMh Batteries.
