Yep I'm in that boat too man.crazydave wrote:I didn't think I wanted one. i like my tiny cars, and didn't want to go up in size, but I don't know I'm getting that funny feeling my stomach. Could this be excitement building?
At any rate a 4-wheel drive fully proportional RC for 50 bucks is almost too good to be true, and they look good.

Good Looking out Sez....much appreciated...ya big ol' pimp
Odd....i didnt notice that the xmods would be available via the website itself. Question folks....at what point do XMODS become exspensive as opposed to their counter parts ( Mini Z - HPI - Epoch)?
$49.99 for the starter kit? EXCELLENT DEAL. Another ..say...40 bucks for upgrades....90 total....would one be better off buying an authentic Mini Z or Epoch ( not that i plan on it...guarantteed im an XMOD sheep from this day forth)? Just tossing the question out there....

Maybe RS will step up and give a super nice 'OUT OF BOX" car with lotsa performance.
Maybe Z or Z clone parts will fit.

Doesn't a Mini Z start at over a hundred and you can spend another 100+ on upgrades.I AM wrote:Good Looking out Sez....much appreciated...ya big ol' pimp

No the Xmods starter kit does not come with a charger it requires 4 AA batteries and a 9V in the controler. The 23-350 charger is a pack with an AC charger and 4 AAA NiMh Batteries.maximan wrote:does the starter kit come with a charger?
