gowd damn those look like fun... are they really noisy or is it just the room/video amplifying it?

They're a little more noisy than bits, but not to the point where it's irritating or anything. My camera's mic tends to isolate and compress whatever sound it can grab, so the sound in the vid is a little exaggerated.
I'll shoot more vid next time we race. It was kinda hard to keep things in focus while tracking the car, and I didn't want to just do a wide angle shot where the car was a little dot.

Lol, yeah, or "I wouldn't want to see that nice car take a straight drive into SuperFly's car."
Another 2 or 3 races and that nice white car will be solid red.

Cool video!
OFF TOPIC:
How do I post a video that is saved from my camera to real player format and then post it? I want to post a video of the comparison of my 6 cell to 4 cell.
Thanks

Cool vid. You gots lots of room to run, and that surface looks nice and smooth too. Must be cool.

No mention of Real Player here, but maybe this thread might help you anyways.

It is a cool place to run. We raced last night, in fact. The surface is plywood floorboard painted with enamel floor paint. Pretty much a gloss surface, but it is a floor and it was painted about 10 months ago. We're definitely using the soft tires in the back, the treaded ones. We use the stock medium slicks up front. The biggest problem we have is ripping the rear tires off the rims. It usually happens when we're racing neck and neck and we bang into eachother. The slight horizontal displacement from bumping, under load of acceleration causes the rubber to slide halfway off the rim. We've tried a silicone type of glue and rubber cement, both of which work for a little while, but eventually we have to pit. The combination of torque and grip is just too much, and I also suspect that we're generating some heat, which makes the rubber even looser. We need to find a better solution, as it's pretty disruptive to otherwise incredible racing. Imagine taking what would be your best 3-4 laps in a row, hitting your line just perfectly. Then imagine doing it with another car literally inches from yours, making contact probably 4-5 times in a a lap.

Try some hobby grade CA (super glue). That's what we used to glue our tires in 1/10th scale.
