roof scoops???

Are roof scopes worth it, Or mostly are they for looks, and what would be the best materials to use if I did make one???

I don't own an xmod, so you probably won't want to take my word for it, but I can tell you now - only real cars utilize hood scoops, and not very effectively at that....
so I'd say for an r/c car - more than likely the hood scoop is useless, just there for looks.
if you made one, use plastic, thin but durable, like the plastic bits/microsizers/zipzaps come in.

I read somewhere that you can use a bit roof and mount it backwards on the roof of your xmod. then on the inside stick an angled piece of card to direct the air over the motor.
NB this is not my mod, I just cant remem who to give the credit to.

well as it turns out if you by the body kit for any of the xmods, there is a piece of plastic perfectly suited for making into a roof scoop.

its really not very tall its just the angle and i have a web cam, that kinda distorts stuff
