ok off to the paint boof

as you know. i am a firm believer in big spoilers and fart pipes because they ad those critical extra few horses. so i got me a body kit and i gota say it looks pretty sweet.

the main chassis is a purdy blue metallic right now but not for long. and whoever said you dont see imperfections until you lay down some paint is sure correct. so this job will be "paint" "sand" "paint" "sand"

aiaite. most of the body parts i painted separatly.

i painted most of it blue and kept some of the parts white. and then used duplicolor metal cast annodize yellow. i highly recommend this stuff. its neat(they got lots of colors). and of course the can died right before i could get the last quarter panel. so she sat overnight.

ok get home from walmart and its fuggin rainin raggy. oh well as soon as rain stops im out hittin it with the yellow. got me a set of yellow rims to match as well.

heres the windows unmasked.

remember that this body has been through hell and back several times. and had to be sanded down to get rid of the previous paint effort.

after detailing and clearcoat and the fart pipe, she will be ready to beat anyone who steps up.

Wow SkylinzRCool err I mean HJ that is turning out to look pretty ricy. I like it, course a double spoiler would have been a MONSTER upgrade. That Fart pipe better be at leaste the size of my pinky finger tho or else it just won't cut it.

EDIT: Oh, yeah... I was down pops' crib a little bit ago and spied a can of plasti-cote charcoal gray metallic on the paint shelf... I just might have to start maskin' up the ol' Civic... I altezza'ed the tails the other night, and that grey is callin' me now lol.

ok i used duplicolor and candy apple/metal flake clear coat.

The wheels got treated to yellow metal cast followed by some color change(gives a brassy texture) and some bling bling coat
