Custom wheels w/ Sticky Rubber

Post by cj »

Just found these at Wally World for $1.88 a set

You get two wheels and 4 different changeable tek spinners and tool.
They are the same diameter as the Xmods wheels. The removable rubber tires wont fit an Xmod wheel but the rim may be able to modded to work on an Xmod.

Were in the world have you been?

I can't believe I may beat YOU to a wheel mod!

If I can find time and a way to remove the center axle these things have with some modding they look like they will work.

I picked up a few (4 in order to have 2 full sets) of these last night to mess around with, and I gotta say...WOW!! These are aluminum. Each wheel has 2 hubcaps on it, so I think if you remove one side and mod it a little. You will have some blingin' wheels on your Xmod. They are just about the exact same size as an Xmod wheel.

The choices are pretty good, you just have to find matching packs to get full sets, but for $1.88 each, its not that bad.

After the contest is over, I'll get back to Pimpin' my Xmod a little.

Aaaaaight. Now ya got me researchin'. Turns out that this is a whole line of hip-hop influenced spinner toy stuff... They have yo-yos, frisbees, figurines, and, get this... 1/18 scale r/c cars with spinners! I imagine that they are going to be very toy-like, but if the price is right, I'll be pimpin' one for sure, just for the sake of having one.

Here's the site... the cars are the "RMZ Tuners" under series 2...

Got a chance to take one apart and the center axle that is in these things is knurled and pressed in. Set a wheel on a flat surface and gently push the axle out and you have it. I just need to make a D adapter to use them.
