Honda Civic Si (model car body)

Post by JDM-R34 »

This is my model car body(1/25th scale) that has been chooped in half and shortened. It's a Honda Civic Si, with Black/Blue pearl paint job (3 coats) and then clear coat (2 coats) It has clear lights (back and front) purplish tinted windows and a hood with a grill behind it (it's chopped). Anyway the car has Med. Suspension in the front Hard in the back, A SB Hybrid Motor motor, 1.5 degree tie rod, and rattle can painted chrome rims, The heat sink has holes drilled in it to still keep the motor cool but be a lot lighter. I have also done a lot of weight reduction. I plan on adding a 6th cell, and if there are any mods Ya'll would like to recommend me doing please tell me, I have a problem with range though and I was wondering what are some mods to increase range without spending tons of money. Tell me what Ya'll think:

lol, I'd recommend doing the 6 cell mod. It really does boost performance...

And upgrade to AWD/4WD while you're at it.

There is a black ground loop that runs from one of the battery cases to the other. Cut that and solder it to your new cell holder in series... the end that comes from positive on the car goes to negative on the cell holder and the one coming from the positive on the cell holder goes to negative on the car... Use the s2 11 tooth to fully enjoy the added power(plus if you use the 8 tooth you'll eat your drive cups.)

Ok thats what I'll do then, What does Hog mean when he said in another thread:
think daisy chain
? Why couldn't You connect the new battery pack to the wires before they get to the motor? just wondering,
EDIT: so it's the black wire that connects both battery packs that I going to cut in half and solder both ends to the new cell holder? I got Ya, so it goes positive to negative on the cell holder, then on the other end negative to positive on the cell holder?
Thanks

He means the cells run in series, like [- +][- +][- +][- +][- +][- +]... lol ghetto schematic.... Stock, it's like [- +][- +]----(this is the black ground loop wire)----[- +][- +]

So, basically you're just adding the 2 extra cells into the "chain".

It wouldn't be in the circuit controlled by the pcb... don't do it. That would be like feeding those cells straight into the motor with nothing to control the power.

When hog was little, he was on the Mickey Mouse Club, and his nickname was "cubby".... and nowadays he's bitter because he wanted to bang Britney Spears but she gave play to that Justin kid instead... so...

Nawww, I'm just shittin' ya... I just call hog that to mess with him.

Good luck on the 6 cellin'...
