rear gear diff in AWD?

Has anyone put in the original gear'ed diff instead of the ball dif for the rear setup in an AWD chassis?
I've been stuffing with the ball diff and trying to find the right amount of slip. It's tricky, the 3 screws on the diff assembly don't have much movement for a small adjustment. It's not much between tight as and loose as so it's sucky trying to get it right....
Gotta say though, awd rocks! it's what makes this car. got the thing slipping all over the place on the hardwood floor at home. it's fun weaving in and out of piano stool legs, coffee table legs, dinning tables n shit
Strong bastard too! I've hit a few solid wall/legs head on and the chassis is still cool. I would of busted my first servo gear set by now if this was an mr01.
I know I'm prolly stating what's already been said but I'm a johnnie come lately to this chassis so fuck off, haha....
