RC Butler is full of $#@^&*(@

Post by sg219 »

I ordered a green and a red upper rear CF deck from RC Butler (a.k.a. wherebsara on Ebay) on Jan. 16th, its now Feb. 24th and I still haven't received them.

I have sent 2 emails and contacted PayPal and neither have returned a message.

Until today, but it was a mass mailing to alot of people that are affected I guess.

Anyone here get screwed too?

One addy on the list seems familiar for some reason. :???:

This is the message I recieved.....

Dear Valued Customer,

We recently ran into a major problem with PayPal. We did everything they asked in the time alloted to correct this problem and they elected to close our account anyway. What this means is that RC Butler’s Custom Race Products never received, nor will ever receive your payment. Your payment is sitting in PayPal’s account. OUR GOAL MOVING FORWARD IS TO SHIP YOUR PRODUCT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. If you would prefer to receive a refund you will have to contact PayPal directly.

We sincerely apologize and understand your frustration. We thank you for your patience to this point and ask that you hang in with us a little while longer.

Sincerely,

RC Butler’s Custom Race Products

All I have to say is that its fucked up that the customers weren't contacted alot earlier, by either the vendor or at least by PayPal.

Bullshit.

Now I have to do all kinds of work to get my cash back. Not only am I out my $33.00 for the two CF decks, I'm out the intrest I would have earned from my PayPal account. I hope that Jackass RC Butler didn't earn any intrest from peoples money!! :x

LOW LIFE SCUM SUCKER!!! :finger: :bs:

I hope no one else is caught up in this. If so, please stay ontop of this situation and give this ass a real kick in the balls!!!

Ok, either I'm lucky, or these guys like me for some reason. I have never had problems with RCButlers. I will say that they are slow on shipping, but I've always got the product I paid for.
I got the same e-mail as SG, so I sent a reply. Today I got a response stating that my stuff is being shipped today. Every time I've had to e-mail them, I've always got a response, so I don't know....... :???:

Won a Green deck, paid by Paypal, never got it, filed a dispute. Dude left me blank negative feedback and filed a unpaid item dispute. A month goes by and suddenly he closes the dispute because January was a really busy month for him. So now, no deck and negative feedback. At least I got my money back.

I've contacted all parties that could be contacted. :)

Just short of contacting the Attorney General. I've done it before and I'll do it again.

I love to see companies/people suffer that don't deliver the goods that ARE PAID for in FULL!!!

This shithead will not do business again, as long as I have anything to do about it!!!

Fuck him!! Fuck his products!! Fuck his family!! Fuck his bills!! And fuck anything else I left out about this peice of fuck!!!

I'm out of 2 CF decks and $33 bills right now, plus interest in my PayPal account!!!!!!

I haven't received an email saying that they (the goods) were shipped or that PayPal will refund my cash.

At this point I really don't care about the goods, or even the cash that much. I just want him shut down for good!!!!!

The last time I dealt with this prick, I should have got him shut down for a one month plus, shipping time on something that is being auctioned and should be in stock.

If you auction an item, it should be ready for shipping, along with...if you have an item listed on your website as "In Stock", you should be able to ship it out almost immmediately.

If there is a problem with your accounting and payment system, the customer should learn of this ASAP!!!! Not over a month later.

I'm pissed!!!

Sorry for the rant., :-)

I got an e-mail from Joe K (yet another pissed off customer of RCButler). He had this to say"

"TO EVERYONE ON THIS EMAIL I SUGGEST WE ALL FILE A COMPLAINT WITH OUR LOCAL AND FEDERAL AUTHORITIES. I CONTACTED PAYPAL AND HE HAS OUR MONEY. THEY CAN NOT AND WILL NOT REFUND SOMETHING THEY DO NOT HAVE!! DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE THIS COMPANY IS LOCATED. MY SON IS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS WHOLE TRANSACTION. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO EMAIL ME BACK I HATE FRAUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I feel bad for everyone that has had bad transactions with RCbutler, but I can't jump on board with this. I haven't had problems with them. This sucks...

Agreed, but the reason I had no problems with them is because I never dealt with him (SG's story is a clone of at least 25 threads I've seen). Welcome to the new XMOD SPEED! :x

The most unfortunate problem with subjects of fraud on ebay and such is that it can sour people to the hobby. I hate to see something that brings people like me happiness also corrupt it. If RCButler is ripping people off, I'm not one of them, but at the same time, I respect many of you serious modders out there, and would do what I could to help, but I won't lie and say that I was mistreated. But then I want to support the people and the hobby that I respect. What to do? Gotta stay neutral on this one.

That is what really sucks....... :-?

My inbox is getting flooded with e-mails from people about this. :(

A while back, I requested his user info from eBay:

User ID: wherebsara
Name: Brian Dudley
Company: The Real Estate Butlers LLC.
City: San Jose
State: CA
Country: United States
Phone: (408) 268-0909

Never used it myself, but, hey, go nuts. 8-) Reverse lookup says the number is a cellphone.
