CF decks and clear chassis from RS

Post by viperdout »

It's marked for 25 bucks but the register said 15, so I paid 15 bucks!

30 minute assembly time my ass! I put this thing together in 20 minutes flat. The one thing that pissed me off was that the holes for the decks in the chassis weren't threaded, so that required dome cranking to get in (I used stock screws). Other than that, as long as you can get it for 15 bucks, I'd say it's well worth it just for the decks. The chassis looks cool but scratches easily, making it pure crap for driving.

The chassis is cool, but it scratches so easily I'm reluctent to race with it. The decks are deinitely worth the 15 bucks. The CF also appears to be of a very high quality.

From RadioShack??? Could it be we are seeing the first of HPI's influence in the states?

Does that answer the question (pic taken by Skklown on MRCC) ? I think this could be the work of Hpi.

60-8537 I believe. My reciept says the stock number's 6008537, and since I'm betting that the dash can't be used in the computer and RS upgrades have the habit of starting 60-, I think that's it.

Really how much are they? I'd really want one man!

Are they handy for your car?

They should be 15 dollars. I think the kit is pretty nice, but I think its more for looks than for performance since I barely noticed a difference with the decks on.
BTW, they are listed on the RS site: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index ... age=search
