Xmods Drifting
Who here drifts their xmods?
if you do what setup do you use?
mine:
Subaru Imprezza Sti body
Carbon Fiber Chassis upgrade
AWD (i forgot about it when I first posted it)
Soft springs rear
Medium springs front
4.5 tie rod
Drift wheels set
stage 2 drift motor w/ heatsink
batteries weight distro all the way forward
Currently I can get it to drift completely 10-15 ft going sideways without it spinning out or changing the side it is drifting on.

Try using hard springs in the rear, and the stock silver ones in the front. This should promote more slippage and balance mid drift.
Tire setup will depend on the surface(s): Foam or hard tires for really smooth surfaces like tile, hardwood floors, or buffed concrete, and the plastic drift tires for rougher, high traction surfaces like poured concrete. Try mixing componds of tires front/rear too; IE: soft front/hard rear.Dont forget the Poor Man's drift tires, tape over the regular/stock tires. You can keep those alloy rims equiped like that too.
Also, try rigging the rear diff to locker-style by jamming paper/foam/play-dough into a stock white differantial, maybe even elmer's glue.
Neodymuim magnets for the motor will help too, more torque. For sharp drift angles, try the resistor mod or another steering improvement mod(hot salt mod).
Having the batteries full front will help with drift stability, while having them all the way to the back will kick the rear out easier.
An extra body might be a good idea since drifting can cause quit a bit of damage, even with the thick-ass plastic the shells are made of.
This body didnt last a week

New Drift-mobile(s).
I have no one to play with over here, so I mainly drift my Xmod.

Edit: Put the Camaro on the shelf; Skyline is now my primary drifter.
Current Setup:
Silver Front/ Blue Rear Springs, 4.5 toe-in tie rod
St2 Drift motor w/heatsink
Drift Kit with gold painted hubs
RS BB
AWD
Top Secret Body Kit (RS mild kit)
Vents opened in hood and front bumper, small crack in front bumper

Where you in a cop shop? I saw "Police Department" on the windows.

Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.
