I was surfin' the web for hours when i found a way i could finally get better ground clearance for my X-mods.Until i found one X-mods i liked that i thought i could do . sg219 your work has inspired me big time and i need some major tips. I have already ground down my silver toyota supra chassis to fit i just need some pics and tips on attaching the wheels.
I have chosen to put on those stampeders wheels because my bro smashed up the truck i got em' off of.

Ok here's what i have done:

(1)I have dremeled the countersunk holes for the rims
(2)I have shaved the wheel wells down to size

The rest i need some tips for so if you can help me out it would be best appreciated. THANKS

Put up some good pics and we'll talk. I don't really know what you need a tip on.

Matter of fact, now that I look at this again I notice that this fucker allready knows how to use the fuckin edit button. For some fucked up reason or another he/she/it decided to skip it......

sg219 do you have any other ways i could possibly attach the stampeders wheels to my x-mods i have already dremeled out the inside of them so they're ready for countersinking. i was just wondering if you had another way to put them on so that they wouldn't make the axles bend upwards and instead keep them straight.anyone have any ideas feel free to post k. Thanx a bunch.

Stiffer springs or doubling up, could help a little.

The sag is almost unavoidible.

Thats true, even on real cars.

What would happen if i put in wide track bearings how would that help it?

It would help in tracking/wheel wobble.

You obviously haven't done ANY research.

Actually i did do research just like it says in the starting post.I just wanted your approval for the wide track bearings if they would work.

Isn't there anything else you could do to attach the wheels so that you wouldn't have to glue the nut in to them.Like maybe drill a hole straight through the center of the wheel and make the d-cut on the one end and have the nut on the other side like regular wheels.

That comes down to what kind of wheel you puttin' on it and if the axle will be long enogh to reach through and be able to put a nut on it. Try it.
