Just some dumb newb questions

So, I've been trying to get on spot with these xmods vs iwavers vs mini-zs. There's a ton of info and some of it has been misleading. Just recently picked up an xmod and I'm contemplating modding the fuck out of it or saving some money by picking up something that's already faster and modding it (iwaver).

Between xmods/iwavers/min-z

Which one is faster stock
Which one is faster modded

And control?

I would want this for hard racing.

If your going to be doing some serious racing. Circuit etc. I would highly suggest the IW02's they have nice control lot of hop ups and still leave room in your wallet to upgrade.

But if you have money to burn then i would suggest the mr-02.

I would stay away from the evo's for now personally if you want to be able to hop right into the new car of your choice. Basically because, its new so aftermarket parts are basically bar none. Again its totally new so lack of real useful knowledge out there as of now and in the coming months wont be much. There have been problems with it cracked plastic etc. Its a xmod still. I would stay away from it until it really gets time to sink into the rc community and get more support etc.

i'd say a mr02 is fastest both stock and modded.

and that's what i recommend you buy. it comes with a few goodies like pinions, alternate motor mounts and has excellent quality propo control.
you'll have a blast with it stock and when that get's a little old there's a brazillion aftermarket parts you can buy. my upgrade tips are:

bearings
ball diff
h plate
oil shock
gandini foam tyres & rims
kyosho x speed motor

that should make it plenty nuff fun. but y'know, the sky's the limit!
