two [relatively] cheap drifters
just here to introduce myself, i guess... i'll let the cars do the talking...
skyline: parallel li-ion setup, AWD, resistors on servo, true lsd in the rear, gpm knuckles, rims, and tires.

350Z: six cell, tape rims, RWD, resistor mod, another lsd, assorted gpm parts, strut bar, bit of snipping to mod the mild rear bumper into the wild bodykit.

and just the six cell. personally i like this layout over any other way to do a 6 cell. pic's old though.

anyhow, hi. (this is the most hyper smiley i've seen in a while:

Welcome aboard pimp.
First time I've seen a 350 Z painted up.
But then again I rarely follow the Xmod scene so...
Anyways, welcome aboard.

Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

difference? hell if i know...
LSD doesn't let the car diff out in corners. i was noticing that it had that tendency, especially turning left, so i did something about it: i slipped in to shims between the larger diff gears and the center of the diff housing, added grease and tightened the diff down. it's as smooth as the stock gear diff, but has adjustable tightness like the ball diff. i like it, it also seems to allow me more consistent drifting.

must've cut the plastic too thin... i broke the lsd. as per your suggestion, i slipped in a previously locked diff.
put the gpm rims and tires on the Z, and woah... RWD drifting made easy. (wonder if the mini-z's can drift any better? the MR-02 MM's come with a stock 50/50 weight distribution...)

"disc brakes" came from plastic model kit (more realistic)
i painted them silver(brushed over original black) and wiped paint off before it dried out.
color0, RWD drift seemed imposible to me on this scale. i tryed to drift my miniz, but to more effort then fun.
how are those gpm rims make it different? more weight? and what kind of tires are those gpm ones, are they hard?
