Evo's Evo

Post by evoraptor »

 Well, I finally got one, and I wasn't that disappointed. The only problem was that I could only get the truck itself and the lift, because i ran out of money. I will eventually get the other things that i need, such as lift, motors, etc. Well, here are the pics.

I really really need those tires! I already thought they looked cool as hell, but now I realize, I'm gonna need the extra ground clearance too.

How the lift work in that kit, is it just a body lift?

Mine has a lot of slop at the wheels, I'm kinda assuming the bearings will fix that. You get the bearings yet, evoraptor?

Well, the camber was there because those tires are stil fairly new, and i just picked it up and set it on the table, (the tires' weight caused them to canter out a bit, and the grip didn't allow them to move), but as i drive it, there seems to be no problem. I haven't gotten the bearings yet, because of lack of money, and as for the lift, it actually gives you longer suspension arms on the bottom, and those tires are bigger, and wider.

Dudes, place stiffer springs up front and you will eliminate the camber issue and imrove steering. 4WD kit makes a HUGE difference.
congrats on good buy. those rims look better, huh? :-o

I finally got around to running the Hummer outside! :-D Apparently, without 4wd, it sucks balls, but whatever, that will come around sooner or later. As for now, the pics.

I picked a returned one up for ten smacks and it does decent with some old rechargeables. It sucked going off road but an easy fix would be to lock the rear differential...
