Thinking of doing a project truck..

Hello,
I am thinking of purchasing a project truck F150...
I will ditch the stock electronics, and use aftermarket ones.
I don't know exactley what to go with, so I was hoping you guys could help me. Either an IWAVER board, or actual hobby grade electronics. If aftermarket electronics, what should I use, and what will fit?
I noticed GPM has a Ball diff. I want to lock my rear, but leave the front open, should I get a ball diff from them? Or just do the mod with the king pin and gen 1 gears?
I will be 6 celling it will that work with after market electronics? Or will I NEED to go lipo? Will the drive train hold up? Does GPM sell any other drivetrain parts?
Sorry for all the questions, I don't really want to do TOO much searching, becuase well, I get HUGE migranes from too much time on the computer( concussion's suck)
Thanks for the help guys!
Don't even think of telling me to search or ill shank you in the knees
