Steering problem
Ok, I put a vid up in the gallery showing my steering, or lack thereof. In my quest for drift, I decided to introduce more understeer to counteract the whipping around done by my WRX. So now I'm trying stiffer springs up front. But I didn't want to lose the ride height that came with the blue springs.
So I did this:

I streched some extra springs slightly to make them stiffer. Great, now I think this was what was causing the problem. Nah. I did a tear down of the front and saw that in there was very dirty, cleaned it now steering is better. But it isn't like how it was.
Check this vid:

Everytime you hear the throttle on, I have already put the steering full in one direction. It seems to have lag. Bear in mind that this vid was shot BEFORE I cleaned the front. I'm still getting slight lag and that's why I still posted this. Can anyone tell/help me as to why this is happening? Or how can I fix it?
I will try some fresh batts now and see if I'm still getting the lag.

Not to be racist or anything (that's far from my intensions), but your hand doesn't look like I would've thought.
I've seen pics of at least some friends or cousins of yours.
You're from Barbados. WTF is up with the white ass hands?
It's time to get your mug up in the Mug Shots thread. I've known you too long to not know what you look like.
Plus my wife damn near creams her panties when she see's that a bitPimp lives in Barbados.

Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

I know they're white and I love 'em. I haven't found anyone else on the island with hands/feet like mine. My palms are unusually white, and I'm pretty dark. I guess it's cuz my grandfather was white *shrug*.CaboWabo wrote:Not to be racist or anything (that's far from my intensions), but your hand doesn't look like I would've thought.

The lag is fixed, it seems that with wear, the tape on the tires started to flare and snag on the right wheel well. I retaped the tires and fixed that problem. The dirt however was a major contributor to the lag.
I now have another steering problem, sometimes the transition from full left to full right doesnt come off I end up going straight and have to put in the right lock again. Any fixes besides swapping out the servo motor?
