Well, I had these lying around and some of you wanted to see how they looked on the Hummer. Well, here they are.

I had to take off the rear bumper to kill some of the rubbing. I still have to do some more to get rid of the rest of the rubbing.

That thing looks cheif now. The swampers seem to complete the whole thing.

Now I'm wondering where you guys get these swamper tires. From GPM? Are they from some online store/manufacturer, or did you just find the right plastic model at Wal-Mart? Are those wheels RS ones turned around?

Yep, thse wheels are the ones that look like the Torq Thrust D's , flipped around. I think those rims are the only set that fit the evo knuckles backwards. And those tires are super swampers from an Aoshima model truck kit found at hobby shops. I think I had a lifted Hilux model which i got those from.

Very nice job man, those look like they were meant to be. You gotta love experimenting. Yeah, it's hit and miss, but sometimes you nail it right on the money.

The TSL Super Swampers used to be available from American Satco. I haven't been able to find many sets in recent years outside of the Aoshima model kits they came in (like the Hi-Lux).

Plus side is they also sell the Aoshima street tires :-o
