Parts Question

Post by Jeep »

This is regarding the original xmods, if you do not get the bearings does anything in the car get ruined? Also what parts are interchangable between the Evo series and the original series? If any of this has already been discussed, please post a link. Thanks.

need bushings: no. for fast Xmod, yes.

Interchangeble parts:
Bodies
Rims
Tyres
Lights
Crystals

I think that's it.

So the stock parts won't make the parts around it any bigger? Like the bushings and stuff will stay all the same and what do you mean by fast xmod (needed for a hopped up xmod or will make xmod faster)? Also why is there 2 light kits?

Bearings reduce friction in the drivetrain of the Xmod. Keeping bushings will have alot of friction in your Xmod and will reduce speed, increase runtimes etc. For an Xmod that is upgraded past RS parts, it is advisible to add bearings.

I don't understand these statements.

Will the bushings wear out? and/or wear out other parts. And do they need to be clean often.

The bushings will wear out in time, faster if they dry out. But nothing else should wear out if the bushing stays put.
