Anyone fried forward but not reverse?

Anyone fried forward but not reverse?
I was driving my evo the other day, 6 cell, w/ bigger tires, stage 2, and stock gearing.
I'd driven it this way for hours the weeks before. It all of a sudden slowed down, like the batteries died really fast. I picked it up and smelled that unforgetable smell of burning electronics. I cut the power.
Everything on the car works accept Forward. I wouldn't think that one of the transistors or one of the channels in them would fry. Has anyone else done this before? The fets look fine upon inspection.
Anyone know the part number of the fets to order straight from digikey or somewhere similar? Since I have 5 xmods i can fet upgrade, i suppose I can try and see if that was the problem.
