Xmods Evo Truck: Where's the spot for Tight Turn Mod?

Post by Namuna »

Okay, so I know the Tight Turn Mod is old, but the steps involve working on a car and not the trucks.

Can anyone tell me which wires I'd need to put the 3.3k Resistors on for this mod?

Here's a pic of the Evo Truck PCB:

Thanks!

There is no need to do that mod nammy, it's an EVO. :-)
That mod was for the Gen1s when their steering REALLY sucked. The EVO steering is much better :-o

Well, I don't know about the Evo Cars, but my Hummer turning radius is pretty sad- compared to my Mini-Z Overland's turning radius. So if I could still do something with the resistors on the Hummer that would be great.

i would agree with maxx, but if you gotta try it...

you know how there are 3 wires coming from a servo pot? and how the center one is "common"?

well the resistor mod involved putting the resistors inline with the 2 wires that aren't the common wire. that's it :-o
i used to be cool

Oh yeah, don't forget that you have on some really BIG shoes on that hummer, that will adversly affect handling but will increase the top speed slightly.
