Damn dude thats pretty....your pics make it look even prettier than the advertised pics. Got to hand it to Kyosho...if it weren't for the wheel nuts, that thing could almost be mistaken for the real thing...especially in the last shot.

The downside of getting the X5 is its almost too pretty to get all dirty and scratched up

Keep us updated on what kind of fun you are having with that thing.

BTW....where did you pick it up?

yea Kyosho really does a great job on these bodies. the detail is awesome and it takes a pretty good jar without scratching.

I've kinda been baby'ing it lately, but I don't see that lasting long.
the cat chases it and then I turn around and chase the cat with it, it's pretty funny.
I gotta find me some little portable ramps or something.

I got a buddy that works at a hobby shop here, gave me a pretty killer deal so I couldn't pass it up.

Very nice, Cabo.

I think you will be quite happy with it. Hue and I have been driving MR-01s and MR-02s for about 6 months, and I've been pretty impressed with the platform so far. Tons of options and parts available, and while they seem more fragile than an xmod, our bashing seems to be proving otherwise.

I'll give those side mirrors 2 weeks. If you are going to get crazy with it, I'd recommend removing them first. They're glued in to little sockets, and you can remove them from the inside. Better than snapping them off.

no shit? I woulda just thought they were molded on the body. that's good to know.
I might remove them, but ripping them off would probably feel a little cooler lol

I'm just guessing, as all my racer bodies with mirrors are seperate parts glued into the body. Either way, they're the first thing to go. Other than that, the bodies hold up surprisingly well.

my X5 mirrors are part of the body, or I just couldn't get them off.. I managed to remove the drivers side in a crash during the hurricane though, and it looks to be moded to the actual body. :???:

I'm really digging it for the alternate scale and all that it brings.
I had a few friends stop by tonight and let them screw with it - it's undeniably cool - even the chicks dug it. lol

the cats actually chase and run from this one, the micro's they just stare at like "WTF is that?".
