So I picked up one of these Scorrpion CORR bodies from driven productions
http://www.thetoyz.com/cart/thetoyz_det ... &cat_name= I originally wanted to run it on my Micro DT but after mounting it I found that it just looked ridiculous; the front end was too long, it wobbled from left to right and just didn't look correct. I figured it was only $10 so no biggie and it went back on the shelf. Well yesterday I pulled out my old iwaver monster to do some updating and found that this body worked great on that platform. Paint is soon to come but I thought I would post some pics before I get started. Im still trying to figure out what sort of paint scheme to go with so any ideas would be great.

Wow, I can't believe it fits the MZM so well.

So what Dave, no ideas on the paint scheme?

I figured out of any pimp on this site, you would be the one with the masking tape technique. Keep in mind that Im a special effects artist and toy design major so im not shy with the airbrush

The Toyz lists that body to fit the Micro DT but the body looks too large scale-wise for the DT? Do you agree? Shame...I was looking for CORR style body for my Micro DT and that one looks really nice - just too large.
Looks GREAT on your MZM though

Pretty sweet Dave

I take it you noticed that those decals needed some fudging as well.
I ended up pulling out some of my old decal sheets and cutting from those.
Here is what I ended up with:

That adds a whole new look to the MZM for me
Not so bulky looking anymore.
Good paint pimps, wish I could get inside those little bodies as good as yal do.

Dave, i can't begin to explain how stoked i am with that body. the paint is absolutely killer - thanks dude!
STG - that looks wicked - i'd looked at the MZM and never been happy with the high bodies and lack of scale - this body just... works! good paint man!
