Hmmm? I swear the blinking green LED swapped over in ~ 15min.
Cause I charged both sets within an hour of each other.

The Ratshack website says...
• Will charge four 1850mAh batteries in approximately four hours.

1850mAh ??? Holy shit...where are these batts available?

You can get 2100 Nimh's pretty cheaply. They're AAA though.
Try using 2 Li-Ion cells. Each one will deliver about 3.7 volts, and 7.2 volts is plenty for an Xmods. They're common in old Qualcomms and other cell phone batts. A warning: NEVER LET THE VOLTAGE GO BELOW 3 VOLTS!

heres my 2 cents on the IC-3. IC3 vs Xmod batts, i own both. my car goes WAY noticably faster with the ic3, were talking 4 mph faster with the blue stage 2 motor. incredible difference, and i was running back and forth with lots of turning for 45 minutes before i stopped, and it wasnt dead when i was done. they are worth every little bit.

I got my rayovac IC3 15 min charger from radioshack. There is no contest between the IC3's and other batteries...Unbelieveable difference.

I've heard that the IC-3's put out 1.45 volts each, not just 1.2. So that might explain the increase in speed.
