They did go up, but they look different now... and they come with pinions and springs. Mine didn't even come with battery clips.

Under specs, it now says... "New Iwaver Mini-Z with improved Electronic Circuit and Controller which provided Top Performance on digital proportional steering and speed control."... I bet these are now exactly the same as a Kyosho MR-01. They had slightly lesser electronics than the Kyosho before... it's a lot harder to get my iwaiver to drive straight than my Kyosho MR-01. If they're better than they were, then the upgrade is gonna be worth $12. I can't wait to see the price tag on the 02.

edit: at the bottom, it says, "Full Performance of Kyosho Mini-Z MR-01, A quarter Price only"... yeah, I'm thinkin' these are better than the previous version.

You know of a good source for those other than Yeah Racing on eBay? That just doesn't seem like it should be more than a couple bucks.

I've also seen the Iwaver 4 monster trucks. These look like a lot of fun.

The steering gears in an Iwaver is crap. I stripped a servo gear in 2 days. I don't want to have to pay $10 just to get a new one.. SO looks like I'll have to build a sub!!

Hey does anyone have a link to those iwaver monster trucks? Are they on ebay?
