i got tired of the typical mad force offerings from kyosho so when the unpainted bodies came out it was tops on the list :-D

i already had a few sets of gunmetal wheels and parts so i went with a complimentary color selection and decided the classis muscle car look would be a good effort atleast. i used tamiya camel yellow and metallic black. they were both easy to use and came out very well. the pactra indy silver for highlight parts as a bit trickier to work with but pactra has some very cool colors 8) i still have to go in and darken the grill.... give it some shadow/weathering.

anyway, here are the pictures.

i just aquired a set of silver rims in the same style so when i can find another unpainted body, i've already got plans for a classic pickup two tone paint job waiting to replace this one.

I agree. Im not liking the silver on it. If that was like black, or not even on there that would be awsome. The silver is to contrast..

i was going to go over the silver parts with some darker color s i described regarding the grille. i should have just painted it black.... wiat to you see the classis scheme! it will have some very nice features  the wheels for that are the same style only silver.

nice work there, i personally would have used a darker silver on the accents like the front and bed scoop. it would have blended in with the camel yellow and the black hood a little better...

what you got planned for the chassis?
