Squat precision foams

Post by payaso »

These foams are complete crap. They don't grip worth a shit on any surface.

I thought they'd hook up on concrete, but not even close.

I've heard good things about the Gandinis, but if they're anything like these, no fuckin way.

The only ones I've found to get good grip on the RCP, and concrete were the GPM radial tires. A bit soft, but they run great.

I'm still on the hunt for something better.

Alright then B. I'ma place an order with aaron this week then. I mainly race on concrete/pavement with a bit of RCP action, so if you say these are the ones. I'll try em out.

Do I need a certain off set for my Lambo to keep the same stance?

I just got a set from Aaron and BruceMicro and I LOVE them!!

I got the mediums.

Next will be the hards, for the outdoor runnin'.

I highly recommend AusMicro.com's shop!!!!

Screw MZR, its cheaper to get it on the other side of the globe. Plus you get friendly service and support a good community!!

RCmart/Dinball wants too much info to ship. Just short of a blood sample.

Foams don't hook up well on RCP regardless. A few guys I know have been running the Gandini foams.

The only drawback to the Gandinis is they do not sell them unmounted. I do not believe Ausmicro carrys them in diffierent offsets, assuming they come in multiple offsets.

Not sure which Lambo you are sportin, but there is a table of offsets for ALL current Kyosho bodies avaliable online. Consiquently, Atomic Mods is finally worth something!

at ausmicro, the wide rears only come in 0 offset.
the narrow fronts come in either 0 or +2.5mm offsets.

i'd say the narrows would be good enough to use on the rear but i've never tried it myself.

I used some narrows on the rear before. They are OK, but the wides are much better. I would recomend soft wides for the back.
Cause I ride around town on my low-rider bicycle.
