I found this on Atomic mods site and I figured it would help people like me who are thinking of getting different bodies for their mini z. It says which bodies fit which chassis and the wheel offsets. I saw several white bodies on their site that I may get and now I know which offset wheels I have to look for also.

Now to look for really cool wheels. I'm thinking NO DISH WHEELS for me.

They just took Kyosho's charts and rolled them into one. Most of the bodies can take far wider offsets than advertised.

For instance, the M3 GTR can use 1N/1.5W wheels, the AE86 can use 1N/0W, R32 uses 2.5N/0W, etc... (my AE86 sits on an MR02 with 0N/0W) Usually body modification isn't even necessary.

Just be careful, especially with the fronts. You just don't want the wheels sticking out too much past the edge of the body, otherwise that will be the first thing taking all the impact when you hit something. Hence my recommendation for alloy knuckles. :-o

Wheels sticking out past a reasonable offset will also hamper your ability to lower the body, which helps handling more than a wider offset does.

I'm looking at a beetle body next, it would be fun to do a Beetle Cup if I had some people to race against. Of course I do have a odd idea for a paint scheme for a beetle.

I used to joke about a white beetle with a red spot and lines from it. It would be a Japanese Beetle.
