Jacs...thanks for the effort, but those pics are so out of focus that the bottom one looks like more like a gutted cow on its side than an RC.

And...when we say close-ups of the chasis, we are hoping for something more like this:

No, these are not Panther chasis for anyone who is wondering.
EDIT: the updated pics are better....thanks doggie

Thanks a ton Jac. So can anyone explain to me how does "proportional throttle work? I am not a tech guy so it does baffle me. Like the differance between the "gear style" stearing on a SE compared to the magnetic stearing of a bit. Is that why there are so many red wires under the PCB? Oh and Jac, I think Hog was pullin yer chain on the free ride, but I would love to see one of the oldschool pimps get thier hands on one of these and hear thier 2 cents (not that your review hasn't been the fairest thus far Jac)

Ok, I'll try to answer some of your questions.. I'll det some pics with a zz and panther chassis tonight S.
Alright-
Proportional Throttle-
Well, I have a few Panthers (One a few off ebay and got some from the retailer and Suntzu..) And the throttle has steps (1 of mine has 3 steps, while the others semm fully propo) in it which regulates the speed of the car. Therefore, if I pull the trigger halfway, The car goes half throttle. (Hog, help me out here..)
Propo vrs. Magnetic steering-
The se has "semi propo steering.. This is a motor which controls the steering and the turn. This means, I can turn the se controller wheel gradually, and the se will turn gradually, or I can turn sharply. However, this isn't considered fully propo because it is only 4 steps? I beleive hobby class consideration of propo is 512 steps which I think the Epoch has..
Anyways, magnetic steerin is just a magnetic and coils which when you turn, the whole thing turns which causes an over or understeer. I cannot control the turn, without playing with the throttle.. Please don't quote me, if there needs to be corrections, make em. Hope this helps. More pics tonight.

who says whats "hobby class"? the people that sell you the hobby shit?
propo is propo. there may be better setups but yes ses are propo steering. hey so are xmods. fuck all those rc snobs.
i understand what you mean about controlling turns with the throttle but i doubt it makes up for not having propo.

Re: Panther Chariot Review
What exactly do you mean by this? They look like any other bit/clone wheels... What do you mean by "The hubs however were nice alloys"?JAC4412 wrote:The hubs however were nice alloys, but the front were bit size.
