Hue...you hit the nail on the head about Mr. Shelby. I like my late 60's/early 70's Camaros, Firebirds, and GTO's, but there is something special about Shelby Mustangs....and Cobras and Daytonas for that matter.
I know you guys will always love the OG bit chassis....they started this whole thing, how could you not. I really like the simplicity of them and from a modding standpoint, its a lot easier to make a shell look nice on an OG bit shell, then a ZZSE....for reasons we have already gone into in other threads.
But....if you haven't picked up a ZZSE lately, do yourself a favor and pick one up. My last two....the Mach 1 and the Shelby, have been great from a performance standpoint. The steering has been greatly improved and it is just a hell of a lot of fun having that much steering control in a 1:64 scale micro. The charge lasts a hell of a long time too.

As long as RS is watching...
... I still wish they'd come out with more body sets... like a painted and clear 2-pack of each body style. Even if I break down and buy that Shelby, I wouldn't wanna fuck with it, 'cause I got no backup and I like the stock paint. Until they's a little cheaper, I'm keepin' just far enough away from Se's that I don't get sucked in... that could be a spendy habit (like my current "snappin'em up while I can" Super Bit frenzy) <--- thanks for the panic attack, SuperFly.

Alright, I swung to the dark side for a while, but now I'm fed up with SEs, and I'm swearing them off, we'll see how long that last, but as of right now, its bits or nothin'.CaboWabo wrote:werd.hue35 wrote:I still dig OG bit chassis more than ZZ SE's. same here, I'll never let my love for the OG bit go.
Bits rule the short track!
RS really needs to go back to the drawing board and start from square 1. The SE is the bastard child spawn of satan, and no good can come out of that.
That Shelby body does look pretty nice though.

To this day, I still don't own a ZZ. Not a single OG, SE, or MT. I know. I probably should give them a try. My Xmod experience soured me so bad on RS. Even so, several times I've been tempted to pick up an SE or MT. The new Shelby cars look great (I met the man himself once). But why do all the ZZ cars have to sit like freakin snow plows on the chassis? Plus, I hate the faux wheel covers as opposed to real wheels that can be swapped out. The covers look like crap.
Tomys and Shens all the way baby.

Go'on and add me to that shit mang... well, as long as it's a "people to come after to race" list and not a "people to come after" list like Steve Buscemi's character in "Billy Madison" had lolcrazydave wrote:Silly cracker ass, don't make me have to add you to the list of people to come after... someday.Bird wrote:besides... it is I who am the one who is ruling...
