New body in - need some tips

Post by Murdoch »

So I scored a TVR speed six at the LHS, just sitting there in the corner collecting dust. Must have been there for a year or so judging by all the dust that's built up.

So now I have it here, with silver and racing green... and now I need some rattle can painting tips.

The plan is to lay down the green first following a sweeping line, then hit the rest of the body with the silver.

So how do I nail this bad boy?

Practice the effect you're going for on a empty 2 litre, or some scrap lexan first.

Goo gone will usually take the paint along with the adhesive. Try rubbing alcohol.
