Thanks Sezziz,
You are taking on a great cause that will benefit each and every one of us.

I did my small part and sent those artists at Road Race Replica's ( http://www.ho-slotcars.com/) my request:

"Hi there Phil, Josh,
I'm one of the many who've been bit by the micro RC thing. Do you know if any of your bodies fit radio shack's Zip Zaps cars?

Like many of the enthusiasts, I'm in my 30's and its been fun racing others in my department at work in the cafeteria on the linoleum floor. Your cars are works of art befitting the engineering and modifications we've put in to make the cars operate unlike anything you'd trust a kid with...

This link will show some of the extent to which the enthusiasts are going:
http://www.bitpimps.lixlink.com/pages/p ... /index.php

Let me know, and also let me know if there's any chance for a Miata slot car body (top down...). I've got one in 1:1 scale in red and I'd love to get a body for my modified Zip Zap. I've read the Miata is the world's best selling sports car, I can't be the only one who'd want one, I'd bet!

Thanks, and again, excellent work!
Brett"

My favourite response to your question of interest when reading the slot car forum was:
"Re: Any interest...

How much fun can it be without a slot and pin? "

Poor, poor person. Please take a moment to feel pity for the uninitiated.
:(
Yeah. Like that.

Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

I like this one: "Has anyone added a guide pin to these cars and raced them as a "wireless" slotcar?"

What cracks me up is he's totally serious. There must be something I'm not getting, 'cause me and every kid on my block wished we could ditch that pin, so we could steer.
...crazy man, crazy...dig it.

What do you think the guys in the "Corvette Club of America" would say of people who spend days working on cars they can't even drive in?

I'm having fun and its not $costing$ a year extra before I retire...
Yeah. Like that.

As you all may have noticed I haven't replied or posted anything else over there. Why, you ask? Becuase of that whole "pin" thing.
I figured that these guys were dead set in their ways and that no way was I gonna see anything come out of it. It's a damn shame but oh well.
