I modded a chassis to accept HO gauge slot cars.
I only have two bodies for it right now. I just put tabs on the car and the slots on the chassis so I could mod the body to fit on the chassis easier. This car turned out to be extremely light and extremely fast. It's dual celled with fets and has a 3:1 gear ration with a bit 3.0 motor.
I used a viper body and a unidentified Euro car.
Anybody know what the grey car is. I know it's not a Ferrari. I forgot, but I think it's an old lotus or something.
Look down for the links to the pics.

AFX, and some other cheap company. I don't know alot about these. I just grabbed the bodies for the bits. I think different companies have slightly different size bodies, but these two turned out equal.
The thing I like is the selection of bodies. Here's a link to HO gauge slot car stuff. Bodies are an option, tires could be used, and maybe a few other things if you sort through it. Some of those tires are the stickiest thing on the planet.

Here's a link that gave me the idea.

Not sure if this is the right place,
but has anyone tried lengthening the ZZ SE chassis to lower its profile?
Maybe a longer chassis could take on the AFX bodies?
I like the SE's but even with the muscle car bodies, they sit pretty high.
