Get those ZZMT headlights to stay on all the time!
While tinkering with my new duracell monster project i touched an area on the pcb and the lights turned on. What the fuck, what did i break this time? Anyways, to make a long story short, i discovered that if you bridge this gap the headlights will stay on as long as the truck is on instead of that annoying on and off as you tap the throttle. Pretty cool if you ask me.
Enjoy,

that's bloody good! so simple!
and there's another way.
whenever i make a lightset for a car now i modify a zzlightset so i don't have to fart around finding resistors etc. and like you i want them to stay on when the car is on.
the wiring for a zz lightset is as follows (props to cj for the info):
brown = +3v
red = -3v
orange= +3v rear
yellow = +3v front
so what that means is the brown is positive, the red is negative, the orange is the tail lights signal and the yella is the front lights signal.
if you remove the 2 signal wires and bridge them to negative then the lights go on and stay on when voltage is applied.
and it can take a fair bit, i use these on xmods and z's without a problem

Dang Betty, why didnt i think of that,, so simple.
If you guys are curious about how to get the tails to stay on too, look at that picture, you see that i bridged to the first prong on the right,, if you also bridge to the next one over you will get tails as well as headlights
Honestly, i like the way Betty came up with better but either way will work
